Canada extended the Innovation Stream Pilot for the Global Hypergrowth Project until 2028

The Government of Canada has extended its Innovation Stream Pilot under the International Mobility Program (IMP), allowing the Global Hypergrowth Project to continue recruiting high-skilled foreign workers until March 22, 2028. The program enables qualified professionals to enter Canada with labour market impact assessment (LMIA)-exempt employer-specific work permits under regulation R205(c)(ii) – C88. This extension demonstrates Canada's commitment to attracting top talent and supporting innovative employers. The pilot has proven effective in helping Canadian companies scale quickly by accessing specialized skills from abroad.
