Saskatchewan welcomes Francophone immigrants through the Les Rendez-vous de la Francophonie celebration

Saskatchewan officials joined students and community leaders at the Saskatchewan Gallery to celebrate Les Rendez-vous de la Francophonie this March. Minister Alana Ross emphasized the province's commitment to supporting Francophone newcomers and honouring the cultural diversity they bring. ACF President Denis Simard highlighted this year's theme, "Activate your Francophonie," as a call for immigrants and long-time residents to connect and strengthen community bonds. The celebration leads up to the International Day of La Francophonie on March 20, when French-speaking communities worldwide unite. Events across Saskatchewan welcome Francophone immigrants to experience and contribute to the province's rich cultural landscape.
